Give each reference one job
Say what to take from each image: “keep the bottle and label from image 1, use the marble counter from image 2, add morning light”. Clear roles make results easier to judge and easier to fix.
Nano Banana by Google · on MossImage
Bring your own photos and say what to keep. Both versions by Google, Pro and 2, take up to 14 reference images and output at 2K or 4K, so one product can appear in many scenes while staying recognisable.
Nano Banana works best when your brief starts from something real: a product, a person, a room or a style you already have a picture of. Give every reference one job instead of asking the model to “combine everything”. One photo sets the product, another sets the setting, and your text sets the light and the mood. When two references disagree, say which one wins.
On MossImage, the Pro version runs on Gemini 3 Pro Image and version 2 on Gemini 3.1 Flash Image. Both output at 2K or 4K in portrait, square and wide shapes up to 21:9; Nano Banana 2 adds extreme banner shapes such as 4:1 and 8:1. Use Whole image editing to restyle a photo you upload; for edits limited to boxed areas, MossImage switches to GPT Image 2.5 and says so before you run.
Say what to take from each image: “keep the bottle and label from image 1, use the marble counter from image 2, add morning light”. Clear roles make results easier to judge and easier to fix.
Both versions skip low resolutions and render at 2K or 4K, which suits print, banners and marketplace zoom. Version 2 costs 8 credits at 2K; Pro costs 12.
For a set of lifestyle shots, keep the product reference, the aspect ratio and the light the same, and change one thing per image: the surface, the props or the camera angle.

Place the same bottle, bag or gadget on a kitchen counter, a beach towel and a desk. Check the logo and the shape on every result before you list it.
Use a photo of a person you have permission to use for appearance, and a second image for the location. State whether the clothing may change.
Upload a plain product photo and describe a new background, season or mood. The whole picture can change, so describe what must stay.
Start with one subject and a clear composition. With reference images, say what must stay and what may change. The templates below are a good starting point.
Choose the version, shape, size above. The Generate button shows the credits before anything runs.
Check text, faces, hands and product details. To change one part, open the image, choose One area, box it and write what should change; everything outside the box stays as it is.
Keep the bottle, cap and label exactly as in reference 1. Place it on a light oak bathroom shelf next to a folded white towel and a small plant. Soft morning light from a window on the right, shallow depth of field. No added text.
Name what must stay before describing what is new.
Use this promptUse reference 1 for the handbag and reference 2 for the café setting. The bag sits on a marble table by the window, afternoon sun, a cup of coffee beside it. Natural colours, editorial photo, 4:5 vertical.
Give each reference a role and say which detail it controls.
Use this promptOpen any example for its full prompt and the exact version that made it. A result from one version does not prove what another version will do.
Pro runs on Gemini 3 Pro Image; version 2 runs on Gemini 3.1 Flash Image and costs less. Both take up to 14 references and output at 2K or 4K. Try a brief on version 2 first and compare it with Pro when details matter.
Up to 14 per request on either version. More is not always better: a few clear references with different jobs usually work better than many that overlap.
Not on MossImage yet. Both versions edit the whole image from your instruction. To change only boxed areas and keep the rest pixel-identical, choose One area in the editor, which runs on GPT Image 2.5.
MossImage offers both versions at 2K and 4K only, the sizes we have priced and tested for both versions. For a cheaper first draft at 1K, try GPT Image 2.5 or Seedream 5.0 Pro.
Version 2 costs 8 credits at 2K and 10 at 4K. Pro costs 12 at 2K and 16 at 4K. The editor shows the total before you confirm, and failed jobs are refunded.
Not always. References guide the model but do not guarantee identical pixels. Check logos, text on packaging and fine details on every result before publishing.
